Rocky roads

If you want your children to walk honorably don’t clear the stones from their paths, but teach them to walk firmly over them – A Bronte

Our children will encounter “rocks” on the trail of life that will cause them to stumble or fall. As much as we want to protect them from these falls they will happen.

As dads, we want to be there when they fall to help them back up and get them back on the trail. But more importantly we want to teach them how to negotiate these rocky roads …  how to step over, around, or on top of the rocks they will encounter, so they can get to their destinations intact.
